About BiTSY Rt

Every fold, every crease, every carefully crafted origami piece carries a piece of my heart - and the memory of my beloved LilBit.

LilBit was my first dog, my princess, my best sassy girl. She was my constant companion, sitting beside me or curled up in my lap as I worked on my origami creations. Her presence brought joy, comfort, and inspiration to every project.

In 2020, I lost LilBit in a tragic accident. The grief was overwhelming, but I found solace in the meditative practice of folding paper - the same craft she had watched me perfect for years. Each piece I create is a meditation, a memory, and a tribute to the unconditional love we had for each other.

BiTSY Rt (a play on "LilBit" and "art") was born from this desire to keep her spirit alive through my work. Every hand-folded piece is created with the same patience, care, and love that LilBit showed me every single day.

The Art of Origami

My specialty is Kusudama - the ancient Japanese art of modular paper folding, where individual units are carefully folded and assembled into intricate spherical sculptures. Each Kusudama sphere can take many hours to days to complete, requiring precision, patience, and dedication.

But my origami journey doesn't stop there. I also create:

  • 1000 Cranes for Event Wishes
    • the traditional Japanese symbol of good fortune and longevity, perfect for celebrating weddings, anniversaries, and more
  • Pikachu
    • playful character origami that brings joy and nostalgia
  • Dragons
    • majestic creatures that showcase the dramatic possibilities of paper folding
  • Flowers
    • delicate botanical creations that never wilt
  • And many more unique pieces to come!

Every piece I create is one-of-a-kind, hand-folded with intention and love. When you bring a BiTSY Rt creation into your home, you're not just getting paper art - you're getting a piece of a story, a labor of love, and a tribute to the bond between a girl and her dog.

Thank you for supporting my work and keeping LilBit's memory alive.
